Welcome to the Lucero lab

We are an enthusiastic and collaborative group of plant community ecologists working to connect ecological patterns to their underlying processes in order to conserve biodiversity and natural resources for a sustainable future.  We are especially interested in explaining, predicting, and managing biological invasions by non-native plant species; characterizing biotic interactions along environmental gradients; and rehabilitating degraded native plant communities.  We work anywhere plants grow but have a special affinity for arid and semi-arid rangelands.
